The purpose of this Plan is to help shore personal and seafarers follow health advice provided by IMO and Other Interested Party in response to the coronavirus (COVID-19) disease, which has been declared a pandemic by the World Health Organization (WHO), under the WHO International Health Regulations (IHR).

It covers shipboard measures to address risks associated with COVID-19, Ship/shore interface, ship/shore personnel interface, emergency response and drills, management of change and risks, posters and notices, PSC, Cyber Risk Management Precautions and references.
