A. When you plan training and development for your company (either ashore and/or onboard and/or at manning agent premises), you expect to gain improved skills and productivity, greater retention rates, and an improved brand. But at the end some questions are to be answered:

Lemur Maritime will provide you the guidance to determine whether the training was an add value to the company’s knowledge management and measure the outcome. Training is all about improving individual and group performances and in turn influencing the overall performance of your activities. It is important to evaluate the effectiveness of the training and ensure that the original learning goals were achieved.

TMSA KPI 2.3.1 calls Key personnel retain core technical skills through training, refresher training and participation in industry forums, seminars and conferences. The value and effectiveness of these activities are reviewed. We can help you meet this KPI with our program.

TMSA KPI 3.2.6 requires that The company monitors and records training results and effectiveness. The effectiveness of training is periodically evaluated and improvement actions are taken by management as appropriate. We can provide you with guidance and tools to meet this KPI.

DBMS Subject Area No.8 and 10 requires that the value and effectiveness of the provided training is reviewed. The Company has an established process for measuring the value and effectiveness of the training provided.
