The purpose of this Plan is to work as an aid in the mitigation of identified risks either when the vessel is underway, anchored or alongside and improve the vessel’s security integrity.

It is based on OCIMF Guidelines to Harden Vessels – First Edition 2018, Best Management Practices -5, DryBMS and the ISPS Code.

This plan has been developed in line with industry recommendations to describe and address the physical measures taken to improve a vessel’s security integrity while transiting High Risk Areas.
