Maritime Environmental Plan (MEP)

Developing an environmental Plan that will incorporate the statutory requirements, those that are considered Best Practices (ISO14001:2015 and ISO50001:2018) and at the same time avoid conflict and repletion is a challenge that should not remove the value of environmental improvement for a ship management company. We are able to assist you in this project by providing our Maritime Environmental Plan.

TISMA

TMSA requires that Companies establish a proactive approach to environmental and energy management that includes the identification of sources of marine and atmospheric emissions and the implementation of measures to avoid or reduce potential impacts.

ISO 14001:2015

ISO 14001:2015 helps an organization achieve the intended outcomes of its environmental management system, which provide value for the environment, the organization itself and interested parties. Consistent with the organization’s environmental policy, the intended outcomes of an environmental management system include enhancement of environmental performance; fulfillment of compliance obligations; achievement of environmental objectives.

ISO 50001:2018

ISO 50001:2018 provides a framework of requirements for the company to: Develop a policy for more efficient use of energy; Fix targets and objectives to meet the policy; Use data to better understand and make decisions about energy use; Measure the results; Review how well the policy works, and Continually improve energy management.
